PShop 7 is very cool, by the way. PShop CS and
CS2 (just released, downloadable from Bit
Torrent websites, of course) has a few new
flavours, but nothing of note really. CS has
this new Shadows/Highlights feature which is
quite crap really, and CS2 has this new Perspective
Cloning tool, which sounds rather interesting, but
performs, apparently, rather weirdly. PShop 7
looks a lot better than PShop 6. It got a makeover.
Stick with PShop 7 for now. Oh, and don't forget
to try out the Liquify tool.

I have to agree with DD that Wrathchild were too awful to even be considered a band. Even Cloven Hoof were better!
They were also a set of W**kers. Many years back there was a club in Hull called Studio Circus, now called Heaven and Hell. The bird who ran the rock night booked Wrathchild for 2 grand!
Jeezus I bet it was 8 times anything they had ever got before. RR were a couple of months out of the blocks at the time and we were booked as support band. Wrathchild turned up acting like Liz Taylor in a filthy mood and booted us out of the only dressing room despite the fact that we had supplied the P.A and mics. The club, in their wisdom hadnt considered that you cant, put on a band with two radio mics plugged into the DJ consul. Doh. We had a good gig and Wrathchild died on their black lipped faces.
Everyone left thier gear in the club overnight and when we went to pick our stuff up , after Wrathchild picked up thier stuff some hours earlier, we found it impounded by the club owner in leiu of the dammage to the dressing room. Smashed up shower, fag burns in his sofa etc. We finally managed to persude the him that it wasnt us, despite him seeing us camped out in there at 6pm the previous day.
Several months later we played Roxannes in Evesham and Eddie Starr came to the show. I cornered him about it and he said "We had to tell the club owner that you lot had caused the dammage in order to get our gear back!" TWAT!

LOL! I actually haven't heard that much of their
music, I just remember seeing one of their
videos for the first time (probably 'Stakkkkk
Attakkkkk') and thinking what a pale imitation
they were of whatever is it they were trying to
be. A bit Gary Glitter, too, which is never good
for anyone thesedays, of course.

Heaven and Hell is still going strong. The
taxi rank opposite it made me laugh, a few months
ago. I returned from Paris, got off the train,
couldn't be arsed lugging my bags down Spring
Bank, so popped in.

Him - It was really quiet for some reason.

Daz, will do the album later when I get in mate. I have to dig that sucker out and then upload it. Awesome to hear this album again though in better quality than cassette lol.
I had heard so much rave and hype over Wrathchild, that I was excited to hear their music. Finally when I actually got to hear what people had been giving thumbs up about....I was dissapointed. They are okay, but to me one of those albums you buy and listen to once, only after...for the cd to sit in the shelves.
I suppose Wrathchild were the next logical,
glamical step after Slade. Very British, very
low budget, very Kitsch, very bespangled.

Jeesus H Christ. The girl has done well for herself. I knew Michael Machet, or Mar-shay, as it is pronounced. His father was Marty Machet, the Stones U.S hardman lawyer. Quite a Dystaty.
Not bad for a bird of Ings Road estate. I always remember Mike Machet fawning after her like a love struck pony. Cant say I ever thought it would last much beyond the pre nup. Nice to be proved wrong. Chist Watts eat your eat out.
I always remeber Lisa D's mum coming to gigs. She was like Mr Levinson from the League of Gentlemen.
